  1. Jean-Louis Bonin says:

I’m from Sorel in Québec province. For a long time I’m searching the place and date of the mariage of Joseph Bonin and Emélie Houle. Emélie parents were Michel Houle and Geneviève Cartier où came from St-Aimé, Qc and arrived in the 1850-60 in St-Louis couty Minnesota. In Census 1860 Emélie was still single, and in Census 1880, she was widow in Anoka County. She is burried in Centervile. My problem is with Joseph Bonin. I know that this couple (Bonin-Houle)had 6-7 children, perhaps born in WI and MO. You will be very find the refer me to a person who can help me finding this famous mariage. Thank you
    Jean-Louis Bonin
